About the Collaborator
After graduating from École Supérieure de Design Industriel in Paris, Patrick Norguet was commissioned to design display windows for two fashion giants: Yves Saint-Laurent and Louis Vuitton. Known for his unique design approach based on eclecticism and a thorough knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, he went on to collaborate with global brands including Lanvin, Guerlain, Christian Dior, Van Cleef & Arpels and Renault. Norguet took a contemporary approach on Savonnerie carpet in the magnificent oversized piece entitled D-form for Tai Ping, which was launched in 2010 at Designer’s Days in Paris.
