Ballet Diagonal has been popular since Edward Fields himself used it in his NYC apartment living room in the mid-50's. Originally, it was made with horizontal stripes in white wool, a higher pile and offered in variety of stripe directions and colors. The modern version of Legacy Ballet Diagonal is made in wool and silk with the pile high slightly reduced from the original to fit current taste and use. This design is expertly tufted by skilled artisans.
