The eight couture offerings in the Biophilic Collection are named after essential oil plants with designs that were extracted from nature. Taking inspiration from the natural Japanese tie dye technique of Shibori, these compositions create an impression of ink.
Like layers of wallpaper torn away to reveal a painting underneath, Cassia contains hidden depths. The violent act of ripping contrasts with delicate technical precision and artistry, leaving behind fragments that can be interpreted as petals or leaves.
