Tephra I

Taxonomy Edition
Edward Fields
Tephra demonstrates a distinct variation on Brittain’s exploration of pleating. Named for the rock fragments exploding from within a volcano, this design suggests the sweeping movements of lava flow, juxtaposing them against the fragmentation of eruptions, shown here in varied carpet pile heights. This design is expertly tufted by skilled artisans.
