MM Design Studio, led by Bergit Gräfin Douglas, was commissioned to create the Fraport VIP Lounge located at the Frankfurt International Airport. The request was to create a very distinctive and inviting space. Gräfin Douglas described the studio’s creative response as multiple “private spaces with warm atmosphere, comfort and cosmopolitan elegance”. The splendid project counts with 13 wall-to-wall Tai Ping carpets that MM Design carefully recolored each of them with bespoke palettes to achieve a unique ambience for every room.
