The Edition Two collection takes rug design to a creative new heights with artistic collaborations that embrace the language of weaves and motifs and draw inspiration from artistic cultural references. All designs in this collection are expertly tufted by Tai Ping artisans.
David Raffoul & Nicolas Moussallem
David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem have enjoyed a meteoric rise since setting up their studio david/nicolas in Beirut in 2011.Their innovative approach to materials and unique retro-futuristic stance, with influences spanning geometry and space travel, gives their work a timeless aesthetic that translates to a wide range of projects from furniture design to bespoke interiors. The pair‘s breakout year came in 2014 with the Milan Design Week launch of the Artichoke safe with Agresti for Wallpaper* Handmade and the Dualita collection for Nina Yashar‘s Nilufar Gallery. David/Nicolas collaborated with Tai Ping to create designs for the Edition Two collection.
